This dinky Japanese restaurant on Acton's busy Church Street is certainly no-frills, but its simplicity is perhaps why it remains a draw for those looking for wallet-friendly sushi.
Decor is in keeping with Japanese tradition, so spare – bar a cool sketched mural of a koi carp.
Despite the name, there's more to Hasu Sushi than sushi.
Gyoza udon soup, seafood yaki soba, chicken katsu curry, tempura and tofu teriyaki are examples of the hot dishes available, served alongside sushi and sashimi sets, chirashi, maki and individual nigiri.
Two different sake options are available, alongside Asahi, Kirin and Sapporo beer.
