Kam Tong restaurant is an oasis of calm and light on bustling Queensway offering a substantial menu of quality, authentic Cantonese and Asian dishes and traditional dim sum at lunchtimes (until 5pm).
Our dim sum is freshly made to order daily and in addition to the traditional items you would expect on the menu such as prawn dumplings (hau gau), pan-fried Peking pork dumplings and fluffy taro croquettes, you can find more contemporary choices such as the Assam curry chicken puff and the Phoenix prawn sui mai.
The honey barbecued pork puffs, although a regular on most dim sum menus, also come highly recommended!
Executive Chef Chris Kwan (formerly of China House & Zen Mayfair) has retained many favourites as well as adding a few dishes that have been given a more contemporary twist such as king prawns in creamy mustard sauce or crispy Mongolian lamb shank served with iceberg lettuce leaves.
Chris Kwan has been working in the restaurant trade for over 35 years, most notably China House, Zen Mayfair, Dragon Castle and as Consultant Chef for the restaurant chain Chop Chop and Noodle Bar in Dubai.
