Rowley Leigh, founder and Chef de Cuisine at Le Café Anglais, was inspired by a visit to a restaurant in St-Jean-de-la-Rivière.
The place was filled with convivial groups and at one end the chef was operating a giant spit.
Le Café Anglais are firm believers in spit roasting as the best way to roast meat and they provide similar theatre The style of the restaurant offers affordable Art Deco glamour.
