Juicebaby Smoothie Bar | London Logo Design & Branding

Review analysis
ambience   food

Passing through quite a few iterations before arriving at the final logo design, various aesthetic and conceptual directions had been explored.

Leaves are easily associated with organic, natural products, yet this doesn’t push them as the most important form or over-emphasise them conceptually.

It is used on labels for body text and works well in a justified and well-spaced form, even down to the smallest scales like on the 250ml bottles.

Talking of labels, a full set of various dimensions was required for the square bottles.

This template allowed for additional labels to be produced efficiently, keeping the style, layout and scale reliable throughout the products.

We recently attended the “Bespoke 3D Concrete Tile Design” masterclass, at Domus’ showroom in Clerkenwell.

Tim Balderstone took us through the history of concrete in architecture and design, showing us samples of iconic buildings like “Fallingwater” by Frank Lloyd Wright, the “Church of the light” by Tadao Ando, the “Cathedral of Brasilia” by Oscar Niemeyer and “L’Oceanogràfic by Félix Candela as well as many other interesting and inspiring buildings

Lunch review at juice bar, Juicebaby in London

We like the take-out small bottled salad dressings – turmeric mustard, macadamia balsamic, miso sesame, sunflower cheese, aioli, Caesar and Thai peanut.

They contain curly kale, cashews, red pepper, sesame seeds, nutritional yeast, salt and lemon juice and come in a cool zip-lock bag.

£26.10 for soup, kale chips, green juice and an acai bowl so Juicebaby isn’t a cheap option.

The cheezy kale chips were a huge hit and think they are the best we have found in London.

We like the take-out salad bowls – the power, taco, yam yam and the market Caesar salad and the mix and match salad dressings.
