Soon after, Mr and Mrs Puntar married and Mrs Puntar followed her husband to England to pursue his career as a professional chef.
Meanwhile, Mrs Puntar was the chef at home.
In 1992, after many years of perseverance and patience, Mr and Mrs Puntar finally opened their very own restaurant which is known to you as “Esarn Kheaw”.
In 1993, Mr Puntar resigned from “Intercontinental Hotel” to continue his responsibility within his family business.
Mrs Puntar has taken the role of head chef at “Esarn Kheaw”.

There were 25 of us in all, and I can honestly say that everyone had an absolutely fantastic evening.
The meal was booked several weeks in advance, and the management team telephoned/emailed to make certain all our requirements would be met.
I made sure to email our food orders in advance, and from start to finish, the service was excellent.
All meals - starters & main courses were served at the same time, with food being both fresh and piping hot.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for it's service, great food and its fantastic value for money.

“Been to the restaurant and handful of times but it is every Saturday we have it delivered and I can't stop ordering the Chicken dansak, it really is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten at an Indian, occasionally if I want something different I'll go for Garlic chicken or a Jalfrezi, all highly recommended ” “The food in Ajanta is fantastic!
