We have courses in more than 14 different world cuisines and we constantly adapt our classes to reflect new food trends.

We’re well known in the restaurant business, some call us the Oxbridge of the food world, and popular chefs like Rick Stein are always keen to recruit the chefs we train, so that gives weight to the other areas of our business.

The course combines theory (things like managing food allergies and regulating blood sugar if you want to lose weight) with hands-on cooking, where you get to have a go at fermenting and sprouting, and testing equipment such as the Thermomix, dehydrator and sous-vide.

We’re keen to grow our LinkedIn group as we offer a number of services to businesses, including corporate cooking classes, which are growing in popularity.

Our course prices are carefully benchmarked against our competitors, we only recruit teachers with impressive knowledge and experience, and we’ve introduced new little touches (such as croissants for breakfast for everyone who arrives at a Saturday class) to make sure everyone has a great time.

ambience   food

Venue: Large bar area split by sofas, tables and the like.

Has a local pub feel about it, clean and well presented and the furnishings are holding up well (opening summer 2004).

Locals: Pretty much white middle classes with a few Australians popping in to play Jenga.

The bar is sufficiently large to never seem crowded however busy it is, but when quiet the layout gives it a sitting room feel which is great.

Only down side is I thought there Sunday roasts were a bit weak but that was a few months ago and they may have got that sorted by now.

The Greyhound, Shepherds Bush

For more than 100 years The Greyhound Public House has been many things to many people.

First opened to the public in 1892 it was the first pub to greet those travelling from the counties to the capitals West.

An open plan, laid back, family orientated bar featuring comfortable leather sofas, a sunny garden and friendly staff that will welcome you and welcome you back.

A century has passed and the basic ideals of The Greyhound stay the same - the notion of a ‘Public House’ .

An establishment that is as comfortable and relaxing as your own home but open to the public.

Som Tam House | Restaurants in Shepherd's Bush, London

Shuffling in from a harsh autumn evening we recently found ourselves warmed as much by Som Tam’s charm as its central heating, staff chatting away cheerfully as they seated us amid the Thai curios and house plants that clutter this small, informal eatery.

Mains are also a cut above the normal traffic-light Thai curries: penang beef curry had a dry heat tempered by an expert use of basil and lime, while the yellow chicken curry was wonderfully aromatic and packed with tender meat.
