Wakeup Docklands

Wakeup Docklands opened in May 2012.

Based on the sheltered waters of Royal Victoria Dock, the site boasts visually stunning surroundings with fantastic public transport links in one of London's most exciting and up-and-coming areas.

The Shack is your first port of call for all things wake and paddle!

Housed on the Western Beach in Royal Victoria Dock, The Shack is home to WakeUp Docklands' reception for wakeboard and stand up paddle boarding, as well as a shop stocking the finest boards, boots and wetsuits to suit your needs.

Even if you're not in the market to ride or buy, The Shack is a fully licensed bar, so feel free to drop by, grab a couple of drinks and take a load off whilst watching the action out on the waterfront.

Once unwanted marshland, the Royal Docks is now one of London’s hottest destinations for property investors, and is set to be the base for the UK’s next biggest business district.

Royal Docks, East London’s booming riverside district, is home to many waterfront bars and restaurants, and even an urban beach in the summer.

E16 benefits from 13 DLR stations, and with Crossrail arriving to Custom House in 2018, the Royal Docks is set to become one of the most well connected areas in London.

And with a huge project by Asian investors going ahead, featuring offices and a retail and leisure park, more people are flocking to the area, fuelling demand for property in this East London hotspot.
