Once a Victorian Pub, 50 Cheyne Walk has metamorphosed into a chic and modern definition of a brasserie and salon.

At the centre of the Belle Epoque dining room is an open grill where much of the French Gourmet Cuisine inspired menu is prepared, including specialities such as Prime Limousin Veal Chop and Whole Grilled Sea Bass.

The Salon, our hidden gem upstairs, with a stunning view on Albert Bridge and the River Thames, is the perfect place to relax on our sumptuous chaises longues whilst lingering over a cocktail or glass of fine French wine.

Cheyne Walk Brasserie Salon offers simple yet brilliantly executed brasserie dishes in a luxurious, Chelsea riverside setting.

Enjoy our succulent Grilled Beef Ribeye 300g, served with a Side of Hand-Cut Chips or Mixed Leaf Salad, a Home-Made Sauce (Béarnaise, Peppercorn, Blue, Red Wine or Blue Cheese) and a Glass of French Red Wine, for only £22.

Head Chef Christophe Dittrich and his team at Cheyne Walk Brasserie have spruced up its menu this Winter with some delicious new dishes, inspired by some of the hottest new food trends both in London and in the restaurant’s heartland and ultimate foodie destination – France.

Talking about the new menu, Head Chef Christophe Dittrich said, “Working with local suppliers here in Chelsea to select the finest meats, the best quality fish and other key ingredients is always part of what makes our dishes so superb.

In addition to our personal favourite – Pan fried Scallops with peas, morteau sausage, girolles and espelette, the new dishes include Hand picked Cornish Crab with avocado and mango tian; Beetroot gravlax with pickled cucumber and horseradish cream; Tuna sashimi with gremolata and wasabi mayonnaise; Roast butternut squash with jerusalem artichokes, manchego and truffle oil; Cod supreme with suckling pig chorizo, coco beans and confit peppers and finally a delicious salad of Smoked duck breast, fourme d’ambert, black figs, croutons and lamb lettuce.

Before sitting down to dinner we spent some time at the bar sampling some delicious cocktails created by the restaurant’s new mixologist genius who hails from the far flung shores of the French island of Reunion.

Cheyne Walk Brasserie was recently named as celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey’s all time favourite restaurant and if the delicious dinner we enjoyed here was anything to go by, we can certainly see why Gordon Ramsey rates it so highly.

Cheyne Walk Brasserie is a brasserie by name and by nature - evident in the menu, and the decor: chandeliers overhead and sky blue cushions covering benches that skirt around the periphery walls.

Head Chef Olivier Ripert has come up with some timeless French brasserie favourites including entrees of duck liver terrine and goats cheese tart.

The menu interprets timeless French brasserie favourites; entrees of Tartare de Saumon Frais and Moule au Cidre are executed perfectly.

Classic mains include Cote de Bœuf and Carre d’Agneau, accompanied by Gallic sides like Gratin Dauphinois, while Crème Brûlée and Moelleux au Chocolat will satisfy the sweetest of teeth.

Wines have been carefully selected to compliment the brasserie menu.
