Inspired by these young memories and my travels throughout the Middle East and India, I opened Villa Mamas in 2012 in the Saar district of Bahrain as an extension of my own kitchen.
Founded in a tradition of local, seasonal ingredients, we continue to support and champion growers and farmers in Bahrain.
We opened in London in September 2017 to share the warmth of khaleeji food and hospitality with an international audience.
Food is one of the most heartfelt and authentic expressions of tradition, history and culture.
