The Thames proved no barrier - we skimmed across like a stone, striking the beacon-lighting spark for craft beer south of the river.
BrewDog Clapham Junction opened in 2014, and has a welcoming interior dressed with booths, books and boardgames aplenty, as well as a rather nifty drinking porch for catching the beaming rays that descend on South London.
Our beer list at the Clapham Junction bar runs the full gamut, from session strength to the thunderous.
As ever at BrewDog, variety is the key; if you need something to chow down on, we got some of the best hand stretched sour dough pizza this side of Napoli!

Somewhat more cosy than other venues from the all-conquering Scots chain.
Much of the seating is on bar stools, but the walls are lined with more intimate spaces.
Even the drinks are fun.
As per other BrewDog venues, a wide range of home-grown ales are available.
It comes with generous portions of four tipples of your choosing — or just ask the bar staff to put together a random selection.
