Crusting Pipe Afternoon Tea

I think everyone knows I love afternoon tea and I was recently lucky enough to enjoy a preview of a the afternoon tea at Crusting Pipe in the heart of Covent Garden when it started being served back in 2011.

The Crusting Pipe is best known as the wine bar in the piazza that has outdoor seating next to the live opera singers.

A Crusting Pipe is the barrel used for making crusted port.

Back to their tea, the Crusting Pipe are offering a Traditional Afternoon Tea which has all you would hope for on a lovely three-tier cakestand for only £18.95 (which is the one I tried).

They also have the Crusting Pipe Afternoon Tea which, as well as all you would expect, has a selection of artisan British cheeses, with a 10 year old tawny port and more.
