This is the flagship restaurant of the Tasting Sicily brand, a deli food company offering hand prepared and hand packaged Sicilian specialities to consumers and caterers.
We discovered that Sicilian food is really diverse with one dish tasting different depending where in Sicily you taste it.
Whilst we were chatting to our lovely meal companion Francesca (who works with Tasting Sicily) learning about Sicilian culture and food we had some Pane, olio e olive: Bread served with Sicilian extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and Sicilian olives, which were high quality and tasty.
Chef Enzo recommended our starters of L’Arancina del Commissario con panelle e crocchette: Sicilian rice balls with ragu, crispy chickpea fritters and potato croquettes and the Antipasto “Tasting Sicily”: “Tasting Sicily” Caponata, sweet and sour pumpkin, selection of cured meats from Nebrodi, olives, and crostini with “Tasting Sicily” pates.
Risotto al nero di seppie: Risotto with cuttlefish and black ink sauce and finally the Tonno in cipollata: Sicilian marinated tuna steak with red onion in sweet and sour sauce.

Tasting Sicily Enzo’s Kitchen is located in Panton Street, just off the Haymarket down from Piccadilly Circus, a stone’s throw from Theatre Royal Haymarket.
It is an Italian family-run restaurant specialising in Cucina Siciliana by celebrity chef Enzo Oliveri, born and bred in Palermo.
Pre-Theatre Tasting Sicily Enzo’s Kitchen is happy to offer you a delicious Pre-Theatre menu available at £15 for two courses: a starter and a main.
Starter options might include Arancini, Panelle and Crocchette (Sicilian rice balls with Ragù, Crispy Chickpea Fritters and Potato Croquettes) or Bruschetta di Caponata (Aubergines Caponata on bread).
Typical Sicilian desserts as Cannoli and delicious Etna wines are also available.

Cuisine meets couture at Enzo’s Kitchen, 38 Panton Street, London SW1Y 4EA on the 17th April 2018 at 7.30pm.
The culinary and sartorial excellences meet in a special event dedicated to Gregory’s sartorial production of suits and the creations from the kitchen of the Sicilian Chef Enzo Oliveri.
Gregory tailors will be available to take measurements in order to create a bespoke suit based on the chosen model.

Celebrity chef Enzo Oliveri brings his traditional Cucina Siciliana to London with authentic regional recipes such as caponata, arancini, parmigiana, anelletti alla palermitana, sfincioni and cannoli.
The menu includes SlowFood products from Sicily and recipes described in 'Inspector Montalbano'.
Tasting Sicily Enzo's Kitchen brings the best of Sicilian culture to the capital, and not only in terms of cuisine: stunning artisanal decorations from Sicily decorate the space as well as a staircase with tiles from Santo Stefano di Camastra, which recount the cultural heritage of the island.
