A delightful pub in Kensington, The Scarsdale Tavern's fine food and peaceful ambience have made it one of the best places to drink in the area.

Fall Girl

Review analysis
food

Despite Bodie's suspicions over Marikka, his complete lack of reaction during the final scene is very odd!

But instead of being excited to see her again, Bodie's reaction to Marikka seems oddly restrained - perhaps after being "let down" by her years before, he still doesn't quite trust her?

The second of the "betrayal" stories, 'Fall Girl', in spite of the pleasure of seeing Bodie more or less at love-play, is not a favorite.

I realise there is a lot of back-story that we don't see but it's difficult to accept that Bodie really desires poor Marikka much less loves her.

Granted, given the opportunity, he does move in, but it seems far too slow and careful for a man of such obvious natural passion as this.

Fuller Smith & Turner Plc admitted to a House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) breach and was fined £200 and ordered to pay costs of £2,000 at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday May 31.

The court was told the council had no record of an application for a HMO licence being made by the company for 23a Edwardes Square.

In mitigation, Mr David Lintott, for Fuller Smith & Turner, told Senior District Judge Arbuthnot that the company was very reputable and had numerous public houses.

Mr Lintott said the company has now employed a dedicated person who is an expert in HMOs.

A HMO - sometimes called a "house share" - is a property rented out by at least three people who form more than one household/family but have shared use of facilities like the bathroom and kitchen.
