The Cutty Sark riverside pub is a beautiful Greenwich hangout known mostly for its amazing views, delicious food and irresistibly cosy decor.

It’s been sat on the banks of the Thames, at Ballast Quay, for over two-hundred years and is a place popular with locals and visitors alike.

There’s three floors all offering views of the Thames River and Canary Wharf to provide the perfect setting for a meal or a drink with friends.

The pub serves classic pub food favourites with a focus on seafood dishes.

The Cutty Sark also serves a selection of bottled lagers from all over the world, great cocktails and a quayside patio offering the perfect spot for riverside drinks on those warm sunny days.

Cutty Sark Tavern review: A riverside pub with fantastic views ...

Riverside pub the Cutty Sark Tavern is one of the best places in South London to take in unparalleled views of the Thames.

The Georgian pub, which is blessed with a fantastic location on Ballast Quay, was given a makeover by Young's recently, but the pub still maintains the authentic feel of an old-school boozer.

Whether you find yourself on one of the venue’s three floors, or outside on the cobbled street surrounding the Cutty Sark, you’ll find it a great place to enjoy a pint, or line your stomach with the good quality pub grub.

It’s a pub in fantastic location, with a dependably good beer selection and a welcoming atmosphere - so, what’s not to love?

Ah, the transformative power of the River Thames.

But add the mighty Thames and it becomes three floors of bow-fronted Georgian magic, with the top-level room in particular giving fantastic river views both up- and downstream.
