Greenwich Kitchen restaurant by B3 Designers, Greenwich

Award-winning hospitality designers, B3 Designers, have brought a touch of New York to Greenwich creating the interiors for Greenwich Kitchen, which opened its doors yesterday.

Located on Peninsula Square, just by the O2 Arena, B3 Designers’ brief was to develop a rustic yet sophisticated interior for Greenwich Kitchen, which brings together a sense of New York chic and traditional Italian inspired warmth.

B3 Designers have worked with key features to create this New York style coffee shop – they include mixed patterned terrazzo tiles on the floor; washed wooden paneling on the walls complimented by framed, inlayed caramel tiles and steel-mesh shelves filled with wine bottles, surrounding the restaurant.

The comprehensive wine offer at Greenwich Kitchen forms a key part of the casual, social Italian inspired experience and includes a wine retail offer.

The wine offer can be enjoyed at the round counter bar, which features as a central focal point of the restaurant and consists of industrial chic materials such as concrete worktop and blackened steel front with copper joints.

Greenwich Kitchen wine-led restaurant opening on Peninsula Square

Greenwich Kitchen is a new all-day restaurant coming to North Greenwich's Peninsula Square with a strong focus on wine.

Its general manager is Alice Bernigaud whose background includes both 28:50 and Bistro Du Vin while their master sommelier Gearoid Devaney has earned his wine stripes at Tom Aikens and Pierre Gagnaire in Paris.

As for the food, it's based on Devaney's favourite dishes, worked on with a chef who has previously been at Soho House in the kitchen.

London Borough of Lambeth Lambeth Council are committed to serving more sustainable fish - and have pledged in collaboration with the Litmus Partnership who facilitate the catering service of the majority of schools in the borough, providing over 1.2 million meals per year.

This south London Borough has previously received the Silver Award in Food for Life in Schools, championing fresh food and higher animal welfare standards, and in pledging to Sustainable Fish Cities continue their promise of an increasingly sustainable food strategy.
