We are a family friendly pub, we love to see the kids turn up with Mum & Dad & there are even a few colouring books to keep them occupied.
We just ask that the kids leave by 7pm, ‘coz we feel that The Kennington turns into a more adult space after that, and us adults can't always be trusted to be on our best behaviour!

We eat a splendidly sharp Goan fish curry, in a turmeric-stained broth, that hovers beautifully between the sweet and sour.
And a rich, thick, fundamentally comforting lamb chop dhansak, stuffed full with fenugreek and lentil and tomatoes, and meat that bleats with ovine glee.
