The Sausage Man is a unique food vendor setup opposite Ealing’s iconic Town Hall where it’s been serving up premium German sausages for a number of years now.
What makes its unique is that it offers Halal frankfurters that are “traditionally slaughtered”, IFS (Islamic Food & Standardization is the most widely recognized Halal certification agency in North America) and Halal certified, and have been brought on the market “due to popular demand”.
More impressively is the fact that The Sausage Man actually has two grills: one of Halal and vegan sausages, and the other for the rest, with separate utensils used for both options.
With that you have a number of traditional German fillings to build up your gourmet hot dog.
As such, you can either go simple with just fried onions… Or if you’re feeling adventurous, load up and go all out… Either way, you’ll be satisified with a good, well made gourmet hot dog that’s been conscientiously prepared and cooked and thoughtfully delivered.

I love to eat and I am a true foodie tourist in every sense of the word, but I'm sorry to say that Poppies let me down.
I had been looking forward to trying it (and added it to my self-guided foodie tour of London), but it turned out to be not much more than a disappointment.
The volume of the music isn't the issue.
My fish and chips both tasted fresh.
It wasn't inedible but it wasn't great (and a fish and chips stand should know the appropriate amount of time to cook their fish).
