Their King's Cross outlet offers a mouth-wateringly vast array of vegetarian and vegan dishes, ranging from guilt-free lunch deals (hello mushroom and ale pie with mushy peas) to full-blown dinner options (we're looking at you, deep-fried vegan buttermilk and panko mock chicken).

The focused menu results in exquisite dishes cooked to a standard rivalling the bonafide tapas bars of Seville, although with a greater selection of vegetarian options that are often harder to come by in the Mediterranean.

Today Chinatown is packed full of Chinese supermarkets, bakeries, and over 80 different Chinese restaurants, but Gerrard Street is the epicentre of London's Chinatown.

Not only was the Waltham Forest Town Hall influenced by Swedish architecture, you can also find a ton of different restaurants and shops influenced by Scandinavian, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish cuisine.

The Jewish community is especially prevalent in this northern London neighbourhood, but the area also features a cosmopolitan of various cultures like Japanese, Turkish, Korean and Italian.

With shops packed to the brim with Asian food spices, not to mention a ton of different international restaurants to choose from (Australian cafes, Spanish tapas and fancy French and Italian restaurants - need I say more?)

The area boasts over 20 different Korean restaurants and cafes (many with shops signs featuring the Korean language), and even Korean-language churches and nursery schools.

A narrow corridor of a venue, with a conservatory out the back, the Orford Saloon conjures up a little piece of Spain in the middle of Walthamstow.

Tiled floors and tables, juicy manzanilla olives, dishes served as soon as they’re ready – the only thing lacking from this Iberian dining experience was sunshine.

It’s a popular local, and during our visit the place was bustling with couples, families, and a few folk having a drink at the little bar.

Spicy, juicy langostinos pil pil; good judías verdes (green beans) with jamón; and moreish patatas bravas were all winners.
