Langan's Brasserie - London's Historic Dining Spot in Mayfair

We are more like an institution ….

We are known to be honest, traditional, unpretentious and also for our “cuddle factor” which usually means long lunches.

A visit to our brasserie would be an experience, almost a journey in time.

Packed with regulars served by our long standing team, the buzz and the ambience is second to none.

So come along, try our Spinach Soufflé with Anchovy sauce followed by our traditional Cod & Chips or something more sophisticated if you wish.

food

Defining glamour with ease, the stunning Art Deco surroundings of Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's are soft and sublime, punctuated with elegant service.

A gloriously modern European menu awaits diners who visit Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's.

With a wide selection of carefully balanced dishes that change with the seasons, the menu reflects the natural beauty of the interior offering dishes such as Cornish John Dory with new Caledonia prawns, Highland Venison Wellington with smoked potato puree and seasonal vegetables, and Rack of English Rose Veal with baked macaroni.

The dress code of Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's is smart, with no trainers or sportswear permitted.

Gordon Ramsay has excelled at Claridges, the most glamorous of Ramsays London restaurants.

“Horrible - bad food, indifferent staff, ineffectual manager, over-priced.

When I went over and said "sorry to interrupt, but do you mind if I take our drinks to the table as you seem too busy?"

After waiting nearly an hour for our food, it arrived either stone cold or burnt (an achievement!!)

I complained to their parent company and was offered a free meal to make up for the first one (which had been my hen night!!!)

The second outing was even more disasterous than the first and I vowed never to set foot in there again.

Bellaria Restaurant & Wine Bar, Fitzrovia

Harking back to traditional, uncomplicated Italian cooking methods, Bellaria Restaurant & Wine Bar is charming rustic hideaway in the heart of London.

Quality of ingredients is never compromised on the Bellaria menu, and a range of cheese, oil and cured meats are all imported direct from Italy.

I am thirsty – you know for what – and I know a little place, near Regent’s Park, where to find happy crowds.

We must be trendy and beautiful: Al, Johnny and Miles arrived from Chicago yesterday night.

The colours on the walls are dark red, dark blue, dark green and they shout out loud a thousand splendid stories.

There aren’t too many people, yet the music is already playing and tonight looks like dance night.

Out there, in London town, it does sometimes seem as though there is no other place where to drink and dance, so I want to make the most of this spot and go for it: Dark and Stormy; Martini Royale; In Fashion; every one just delicious.

"I was with my friend for dinner tonight, everything was fine until the waitress dropped the oil on the floor.

All oli spilled over my new shirt and my hair.

I didn’t even hear a word, I'm sorry.
