There should be a warm welcome (the name translates as 'my friends'), with pasta and sourdough pizzas served alongside regional dishes from both the mainland and Sardinia.

The menu follows the classic Italian format.

Burrata and bruschette feature on the antipasti menu; tagliatelle al Cervo (slow-cooked venison ragu with tagliatelle) and risotto di Montagna (risotto with wild mushrooms and truffle oil) on the pasta course; and frittura di mare (deep-fried calamari and tiger prawns) and maialetto sardo (oven roasted suckling pig) on the secondi.

Those sourdough pizzas (there are 22) come from a wood-fired oven, and you can choose to have them in a classic or Neapolitan style.

Desserts feature tiramisus, warm chocolate and pear cakes, ice creams and a sweet pizza with custard cream, strawberries and banana flambé.
