Mediterraneo

Mediterraneo Italian Restaurant Notting Hill West London UK W11

Mediterraneo is a traditional and authentic Italian restaurant with rustic stone walls and tables spilling out onto the street in the heart of the thriving and bustling area of Notting Hill and parallel to Portobello Market.

It is a picture-postcard local Italian restaurant with friendly service and a buzzy atmosphere.

The menu is modern but traditional Italian Cuisine at reasonable prices and the Chef pays great attention in choosing the freshest ingredients in Season.

With a good choice of Italian wines, many available by the glass, you are able to drink long into the summer evenings and soak up the busy pavement action.

Osteria Basilico and Essenza are our sister restaurants and are located in the same street.

Friendly service with a buzzy athmoshere, all in a typical rustic Italian Osteria settings, matched by home cooking like you would expect to eat in Italy is the key to the success of the restaurant.

The home made buffet, pizzas and pastas are a good choice for vegetarians.

Mediterraneo and Essenza our sister restaurants are located in the same street, and they are a good alternative if we are full.

A takeaway service is also available.

said: " Good Restaurant, Good Food, Tastecard not worth it here though.... This venue is a very nice restaurant, it offers a mixture of contemporary british food and traditional italian dishes all of which are wonderfully prepared.

It also has an array of breakfasts and lunches, including paninis and toasted sandwiches, cakes etc which are all very nice.

The menu is fairly priced, however, contrary to what the tastecard application states, the discount only applies for main course meals of which there is actually a limited number.

The card is only valid on 8 different dishes, it is not valid on any lunch or breakfasts.

Ideal for a quiet lunch however if you are looking to save money with the tastecard there will be no point visiting as it is almost useless unless you have one of the limited selection of main course meals.
