The Marquis Of Westminster - Georgian House Hotel London

Often described as Pimlico’s local village pub, The Marquis has a beautiful first-floor restaurant and a modern basement bar that the whole family can enjoy.

Top tip: Take a walk to The Marquis on a Sunday and enjoy one of their hearty homemade roasts.

The Marquis of Westminster has a fantastic basement bar available for hire.

There is a fully operational bar with a wide range of beers, wines and spirits, as well as a mouth-watering selection of canapés.

drinks

The Marquis is our favourite.

The dimly lit ground-floor bar feels like a former living room.

A quintet of draught ales offer the familiar and not so familiar — the scalps of former guest ales, in the form of beer mats, adorn the bar top.

The basement cocktail bar reckons to be 'the best function room in Central London', but we've yet to sample its delights.

Curiously, the eponymous Marquis of Westminster was teetotal, a supporter of the temperance movement, and instrumental in closing 40 beer houses in his constituency of Mayfair.

The Marquis of Westminster review: A welcoming village-style pub in ...

It might be called the The Marquis of Westminster but this village-style pub is just a short walk from Victoria Station.

As well as a welcoming place for a drink, the Marquis also boasts a sleek wood-panelled dining room, serving a sophisticated menu of top-end pub classics and beyond.

This place also offers an assured wine list and choice of cocktails, putting it a cut above your average Victoria boozer.

food

Often described as Pimlico's village pub, we serve traditional British food and English ales, hopefully all accompanied with untraditional British weather.

An independent pub, owned by local Pimlican Chris Hayes, we now operate on three floors with a pub, restaurant and function room.

Independently owned & managed pub, The Marquis of Westminster reopened in February 2013 following a complete refurbishment and now has something for everyone.

So whether you want the perfect pint, hearty, locally sourced food or an awesome party venue, you always know where to come.
