We are very proud to reveal that we have finally opened Superstore’s brand new sister venue Voodoo Ray’s – a late night pizza spot just down the road from us next to The Rio.

Our chefs bake giant 22” pizzas in an American baker’s oven using the best ingredients we can find including Caputto flour for the dough, Italian plum tomatoes for our Napoli sauce and Fior di Latte mozzarella.

Choose a slice (or two) from our selection and we reheat it for you – it’s piping hot in about a minute.

We make refreshing frozen margaritas to accompany your pizza – a house margarita made from top-quality Sauza Hornitos reposado tequila, Cointreau, agave syrup, and citrus juices plus a rotating selection of seasonal specials.

Oh, and there’s something downstairs called Dance Tunnel… H & M  3.80 Ham, mushroom, mozzarella, tomato sauce * This might need a better name… all suggestions gratefully recieved Cheese Dreams (v)  4.20 Fontina, dolcelatte, grana padano, mozzarella, tomato sauce *Has been known to actually cause cheese dreams The Full Moon Slice  4.20 Fresh tomato, mozzarella, bacon dust, mayonnaise *Only available after midnight!

Voodoo Ray’s is a multi-faceted Dalston joint serving delicious New York style pizza and refreshing cocktails.

Sister venue to Dalston Superstore, Voodoo Ray's serve refreshing frozen margaritas as the popular choice to accompany authentic Italian pizzas.

They are made using top-quality Sauza Hornitos Reposado tequila, Cointreau, agave syrup, and citrus juices plus a rotating selection of seasonal specials.

These ingredients are mixed to perfection in the Ugolini Italian granita machines (margarita mixers to you an I).

There is also a great selection of beers from around the world including Czech lagers; Punk IPA from Scotland, Brooklyn, East India; and Asahi.

This is the fourth Voodoo Ray’s in London, and the remit remains the same: enormous, 22-inch pizzas, available whole or by the slice.

It also feels like the gazillionth pizza joint to have opened in Peckham in the past year, but hey, we’re not complaining – anywhere that has a £4.50 negroni on the menu is okay in our book.

The vibe is as fun and funky as at Ray’s other joints: a humming red neon sign out front, a counter covered in shiny tiles inside and a huge yellow menu on the wall listing the lip-smacking range of pizzas on offer.

I went for a half-half combo: on one side Green Velvet, with juicy green olives and hunks of artichoke heart; on the other a supremely delicious King Tubby, with fennel and chilli sausage, crunchy kale leaves and splodges of caramelised onion.

If you do decide to sit in, make sure you throw a side of mac and cheese topped with smoked bacon onto your order.
