A popular lunch spot with city folk, the two branches of Momo'wich serve up a concise pan-Asian street food offering that all comes in at well under our magic £8 mark.
Expect the likes of pad thai, laksas, steamed buns, and street bowls, where something tasty is served with jasmine rice.
We were advised their strongest dish to be their beef rendang street bowl, so we made a beeline.
A generous amount of 12hr slow-cooked meat and potatoes in their special spice blend, fragrant and tasty but not overly bold, served with pickled cabbage, fresh red chilli and coriander.
If you're after a bit more fibre from your meal and want to swap out the jasmine for brown rice, it's an an extra 30p.

Founded by Garfield and his wife Desiree, Ting N Ting is a local Caribbean restaurant found in the historic Merton Abbey Mills, located along the banks of the River Wandle on the borders of South Wimbledon and Colliers Wood.
Before his restaurant, Garfield appeared on a few food-related TV shows, which included winning an episode of Ready Steady Cook, and being invited to create a ready-made chilled meal to be sold in Sainsbury's, raising £10k for BBC's Children in Need.
His aim is to introduce fine Caribbean foods (whether from from Grenada, Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados or any of the Caribbean Islands) to the masses.

The deal involves a traditional Bogotá soup, big too, followed by a meaty main with sides of plantain, rice and potatoes (either chips or roasted).
The soup changes daily between oxtail, bean, chicken, tripe (which I had, lovely).
And mains tend to cycle between chicken or oxtail stew, chorizo, steak (pictured), or crispy pork belly.
During the week this costs £7.50, includes a drink, and they'll have made enough of the special to last all day.
If it does, they'll replace it with another meat item from the a la carte, which is what happened during my visit (the special was oxtail stew, but I got steak because I visited around 4pm on a Saturday).

Here's one we genuinely stumbled upon, decided to try during a strapped-for-time lunch break and liked so much we went back again (and again).
Momo'wich is a weeks old lunch spot offering “pan-Asian bites” for folks tired of the Brick Lane curry with a side of hipsters and tourists or the evermore present High Street chains around Spitalfields.
it's a great little place to grab lunch - or a fresh juice or tea - with some SE Asian flavour.
