Follow the sign saying '100-seater, air-conditioned family restaurant' which, rather improbably, turns out to be accurate.
As befits its location, the restaurant is a no-alcohol zone and the food, billed as Turkish-Anatolyan, is strictly halal.
To follow there are lahmacun and pides (Turkish nearly-pizzas £1.50-£4), and grills: all freshly cooked and elegantly served with pickled red cabbage, sliced onion with sumac, chopped cucumber and tomato salad, rice, and chargrilled chillies and tomatoes.
The Aziziye Restaurant may be located in an unfamiliar setting, but persevere - the food is good and cheap, service is friendly, and the Turkish tea is very strong indeed.
