Food arrived without the chips or rice which we ordered and paid for.

I rand straight away and was told they were busy they said could send but informed them our food we be called and asked for refund of same was told would get call next day to arrange same .

Two days later still have not had a call wont be ordering from here again

Having finished my food and the meals of 2 my other friends and with a few pints already sat in my stomach, I was nigh on ready to explode.

Having reached 500,000 page views on the blog, it’s time for a spot of self-indulgence – a return to the scene of the crime of my first blog post , a tipsy midnight curry on Wellfield Road.

A delicate squid ink wafer was topped with smoky mussel puree, a daintily fiery wasabi cream and fronds of dill whilst a crisp crostini was dotted with black olive tapenade, aubergine puree, fresh as you like tomatoes and metallic basil.

Mrs G started with perfectly caramelised wobbly foie gras accompanied by sweet roasted apricots, apricot puree, candied hazelnuts and a good drizzle of honey.

My dish of a long cooked piece of spoonably tender beef short rib was garnished with sweet roast shallots, smooth and buttery potato puree, buttered spinach, crispy shallot rings, a killer shallot and horseradish confit and another awesome sauce.

For Mrs G’s dessert, a lovely pistachio soufflé was joined by excellent pistachio ice cream and a viscous bitter chocolate sauce.

A soft, seriously rich 70% dark chocolate ganache was balanced by cleansing milk granita, potent coffee cream, caramelised pecans and a crisp biscuit crumb.
