Bean & Hop

Superb coffee & craft beer in Earlsfield. Pizza nights and takeaway, tastings and evenings with suppliers.

Bean & Hop

Bean & Hop was created under the consideration that London roasts the best coffee & brews an extraordinary array of the best beers - so why not have a local where you can enjoy the best of both worlds under one roof?

We serve coffee made with beans from Nude Espresso Roastery and stock over 60 different types of beer from local brewers as near as 200 yards away to NZ & the USA.

If that wasn’t enough we also serve freshly baked loaves of bread and pastries for you to take home as well as a delicious selection of cakes, all homemade from local artizans.

food

In all of our packaging we've included an 'Allergy Info' underneath the ingredient list saying 'Made in facility that may also use soy, seeds, wheat, corn and tree nuts.'

However, to cover the unlikely possibility of inadvertent cross presence of these allergens in our product-and taking into consideration the people with very high susceptibility towards food sensitivities-we decided to declare the following items on a voluntary basis above and beyond the basic ingredient and nutrition labeling requirements stipulated so that consumers can make an informed consumption decision.

We did include this statement because some ingredients used to manufacture other products in our plants may contain possible concomitant allergens that could potentially cause a reaction in otherwise differently sensitive individuals (for example: the occasional production use of coconut in other products in our manufacturing plant could cause a related sensitivity even though the coconut is actually a seed from the palm family and is not actually a real nut, and soy sensitive individuals may also harbor a sensitivity to other different legumes).

That being said, all of our salted items are made back to back, then the lines are thoroughly cleaned before any seasoned items (such as dairy) run through production.

Restaurant Review: House of Leaf & Bean transforms ... - Jacksonville

food   drinks   menu   ambience

The restaurant, open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, features a curated selection of largely Asian-influenced organic small plates, smoothies, juices, bowls and sandwiches, with fresh tofu made on-site.

Make no mistake — House of Leaf Bean won’t compete with Smoothie King on menu variety.

Get your basic greens with the Zen Bowl ($11.50), a beautiful, layered arrangement with spinach, chickpeas, carrots and cucumbers atop jasmine rice with your choice of protein, chicken or tofu (sorry, red meat lovers).

While there aren’t formal dessert options at House of Leaf Bean, sweet tooths looking to improvise can pick up breakfast items at the counter display case, such as seasonal muffins and peanut butter protein bars.

Along with a nice variety of organic hot and iced teas and coffee, House of Leaf Bean features five bottled organic beers from Orlando Brewing, Florida’s only USDA-certified organic brewery, and five red and five white organic wines by the glass.

Restaurant review: Tainan Mr Bean in Causeway Bay ... - Hong Kong

ambience   food

With big fluorescent light boxes inscribed with the names of dishes hanging on the walls, a corner in the back alley behind Lee Gardens in Causeway Bay has been transformed into a vibrant night market of the kind that is seen all over Taiwan.

Following in the footsteps of Yuan is Here in Sai Ying Pun, Tainan Mr Bean recently opened on Lan Fong Road, serving the kind of Taiwanese street fare that is hawked in night markets in Tainan City.

The shrimp and pork ball noodle soup (HK$42)had a generous amount of ingredients in a rich broth.

We liked the sweet potato leaves (HK$45) cooked with garlic. For indigenous Tainan dishes, we ordered the Hsinchu vermicelli(HK$55) – chewy rice noodles which came in a big portion with many ingredients such as pork, shrimp and vegetables.

Tainan Mr. Bean, 19 Lan Fong Road, Causeway Bay, tel: 2217 0520.

Good, consistent, down-home food.

The kids can play, you can enjoy a nice conversation with your husband or friends and then everyone can eat and go home happy after dinner!"
