staff food drinks
The pub accommodated a large number of us last minute which was great, however when calling to arrange crackers (which we greatly appreciated) and to inform of a vegan guest, it was almost like we were too much effort for the staff to deal with.
When arriving we ordered drinks at the bar and the waitresses continued to provide us drinks and shots at the table which was great.
The steak itself was also really chewy.
As she was taking it away, when another guest asked her what it was , she slammed it down on the table and said ‘ice cream’ and then walked off.
We were extremely disappointed with the service, although there was someone there to serve us and meet our requests, it came across like it was far too much effort and staff were extremely grumpy - where is the festive spirit?!!
